Phenolic Board

What is phenolic board?

Phenolic board is a thin-gauge compact laminate produced by pressing multiple layers of phenolic resin-impregnated kraft paper, faced with a decorative surface, under high temperature and pressure. The result is a solid, rigid and dimensionally stable panel that does not require a timber substrate.

Owing to its self-supporting construction, phenolic board can be fitted directly into aluminium frames. It is widely specified for aluminium-framed kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, doors and interior wall linings where a slim profile and a durable decorative finish are required.
