What is a 6mm phenolic kitchen top?
A 6mm phenolic kitchen top is a solid compact laminate worktop manufactured from phenolic resin-impregnated kraft paper and a decorative surface layer, consolidated under high temperature and pressure into a single dense board.
Installed directly over base cabinets as the counter surface, it provides a scratch-resistant, waterproof and heat-resistant working surface suitable for both dry and wet kitchens. Cut-outs for sinks and hobs are produced with precision by CNC machining.
